Curriculum Vitae

SUMMARY

Michael A. Zeligs, M.D., is a physician-investigator with interest in the
field of nutritional intervention in aging processes. Apart from his experience in clinical pharmacology, his drug and nutrient delivery
research experience include patent applications for hormonal eye drops and vitamin-hormone combinations for aging skin. He has performed laboratory based studies in nutrient delivery as a consultant for the Immudyne Corporation and served as scientific advisor for NeoCare Laboratories.  Dr.Zeligs holds a M.A. degree in stress-physiology from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and an M.D. degree from the University of California, Irvine, College of Medicine.  Dr. Zeligs has completed specialty training in Anesthesiology, Pediatrics, and Immunology. His clinical research has focused on hormonal aspects of aging.  In this regard, he has served as sponsor-investigator for multiple Investigative New Drug Filings (IND) with the FDA for investigation of the use of Dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA) to improve metabolism and immunity in the elderly.
