This is a study comparing the study drug with placebo in the treatment of an acute migraine headache.  After treatment of the first headache the patient has the option to continue treatment with the study medication for another year.  Eligible subjects must be at least 18 years old and have a history of 2-8 migraine attacks per month.  Patients are allowed to stay on their preventative migraine medicine during this trial.
